"Great Moments in Listory" is an animated retelling of the origins of Listerine. It communicates a 100 year-old history of using only essential oils as the main ingredients, all in the time it takes to kill nearly 99% of the germs in your mouth on contact-roughly 30 seconds. My roll was design and animation in collaboration with Jeff Davis at inVentiv Creative Studios.
Here is a pitch for the Cleveland Browns 2014/2015 TV spots. The client wanted a natural progression of their current paint splatter branding. Slow mo 3D paint never looks bad! Player vignettes are coupled with vignettes of local heroes like Chef Jonathon Sawyer of The Greenhouse Tavern showing the camaraderie of the club and the city.

Ever wonder what's inside Red Bull? Check out these style frames I did for Wired Magazine's: What's Inside series. I was responsible for creating the overall look and feel of this animation for Wired's website. I made tons of frames and even dabbled in character rigging for the first time before passing it off to the animators. Watch the video at the bottom for the final piece.

Using bright glows and reverberations, the energy and impact of the fight is seen and
felt through dynamic illustrations and effects.
The title sequence begins as a fighter is facing off with his opponent. As the fighter
delivers kicks and punches to his foe the camera perspective is taken from that of the
fighters hands and feet as if the camera is attached slightly above them. When the
fighter lands a blow, the full internal impact is shown through stylized reverberations
and an internal exposure of fluorescent bones and organs.
I had the opportunity to collaborate with the amazing artists at Spacejunk, where we spent a solid 3 months working nights and weekends laboring over this awards open. The concept was conceived as a collective amongst the artists, and each artist was responsible for the direction of their sections. Everyone boarded out what their vision was and an edit was birthed!
My role consisted of concepting the overall look and feel, designing style frames, logos, animation of the soccer ball section- which was created in Cinema 4D using Vray and composited in After Effects. In addition I designed a program cover and animated bumpers, image plates and lower 3rds to be used during presentations.

Style frames and animation for the Pelotonia broadcast spot. Founded in Columbus, Ohio, Pelotonia is a bike tour with one goal: to end cancer.
Title design for a spec movie called The Big Lug. It's about a boxer in the future who is bribed to lose an important boxing fight and is poised to either do the right thing and win, or make bank and lose.
Pitch for NBC's The Voice show open and graphics package.
Design and animation for OSU's Wexner Center for the Arts. This was a promo for an event focused on classic Japanese films. To create this, we printed out images of the films - frame by frame - and then used those physical images to stop-animate with, creating a unique look and feel.

Pitch for FX's The Ultimate Fighter show open. This is a collaboration with the amazing designer Jeremy Slagle. He handled the line art/sketches, I did the color and compositing.
This style frame design for Repreve's 2013 tv spot during the xgames were a blast to make! The final spot features Elena Hight blasting tricks at a halfpipe in Copper Mountain Colorado while wearing a jacket made entirly of plastic bottles.
This is a promo for Nationwide's Investment Solutions Builder which is a tool advisors can use to help investors make precise decisions. My role here was concepting, designing style frames, creating matte paintings, title graphics, and HUD graphics.

The Nationwide All-Associates event is held at Nationwide Arena and broadcasted to all employees throughout the country online. I was responsible for designing the look and feel overall which was made up of several distinctly animated sections for speakers, lower thirds, a main logo, and even a trophy design. I worked closely with event technicians and designed in Cinema 4D within the parameters of an interesting screen layout. I also had my hand in the animation of some elements.
